ASEPOP Naoussa successfully implemented a series of targeted information and promotion activities in Poland, within the framework of the European programme Europeanfruits, with the support of the implementing agency Novacert Ltd.

The activities focused on the Cooperative’s main products—namely peaches, nectarines, cherries, kiwifruit, and apricots—highlighting the high quality, nutritional value, and safety of European fruits produced by ASEPOP Naoussa’s members.

During its presence in the Polish market, ASEPOP Naoussa representatives took part in a range of professional and communication activities, including:

  • Contacts and meetings with sector professionals (importers, distributors, and market representatives) at the Warsaw wholesale market,
  • Meetings at the offices of the Embassy of Greece in Poland,
  • An informational event and presentation of the Cooperative to trade journalists, influencers, and food market professionals, held on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at Mykonos restaurant & bar,Participation in the international trade fair TSW 2026, which took place on 23–24 January 2026 in Kielce, Poland.

In nearly all ASEPOP Naoussa activities in Poland, Georgios Michailidis, Head of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs (OEA) of the Greek Embassy in Warsaw, as well as members of the Office staff, were present, honouring the initiatives with their participation and reinforcing the institutional character of the Greek presence in the Polish market.

Particular emphasis was placed on linking fruit consumption with a healthy and balanced lifestyle, in line with European dietary recommendations, as well as on the importance of sustainable agricultural production and responsible farming practices.

Poland is one of ASEPOP Naoussa’s key target markets, and these actions contributed substantially to strengthening the image of both the products and the Cooperative, while also highlighting the importance of quality, safety, and the inclusion of fruit in a healthy and balanced way of life.
