Cherries
Its scientific name is Prunus avium, and it became known in Greece around 300 BC, apparently originating from the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea region, likely brought via Pontus. It contains a range of mineral salts, dietary fiber, and ellagic acid. It is particularly rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and B vitamins, as well as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, and copper. One cherry provides about 4 calories.
Cherries are a beloved fruit, enjoyed fresh from late May to mid-July, when they are in season. They can also be enjoyed year-round in delicious spoon sweets, aromatic liqueurs, or canned products.

Harvesting by our growers is done exclusively by hand—one by one—and requires a great deal of time and effort. The fruit must not be separated from its stem, so that the juices do not leak and the cherries do not spoil quickly.
With the combined application of the Integrated Management System for cherries as well, along with the dedication and experience of people who respect the land, we produce cherries with intense color, distinctive flavor, and excellent keeping quality.
