The scientific name of the Peach Tree is called Prunus Persica. It's origin from China where it was spread in Persia, in Middle East, while in Greece it became known in 400-300 B.C.
The Peach Tree thrives in a mild climate where the temperature doesn't droop under -15C in wither and it doesn't exceed the 35C in summer.
The ideal place to cultivate peach trees was proven to be Naoussa. Naoussa is a well known city for its peach production as the appropriate climate and soil conditions exist.
